Cheiryon's Journal I've been spending the time quietly here. No werewolf clans exist in London itself--I hear of one out in the country, but none at the capital. Amber and her little daughter are safe enough. I did have to convince a local vampire not to test the security system at Amber's new apartment, one night. Temporary possession of a body lacking a soul is not difficult. Feeling the skin I wore burn away again wasn't especially pleasant, true. Three hundred years can dim even the worst memories. Une petite fille, Caiomhe, is still innocent. As such, she has not the blinders that so many more "knowledgeable" adults do in perceiving realities. She has been able to see me even when I am unmanifest. I have had to exercise some caution in approaching them, lest she see too much. Other less congenial entities are drawn to a ghost's presence. (firewall against all but members of Amber's family, and Demetria) Erynne or her husband, or Demetria, should come visit soon. While the the serpentine bitch has no way of knowing Amber's whereabouts, there are other concerns. I have felt powerful magicks being expended in London; powerful, and undirected. They "taste" of blood, of the spells that require a life to be taken to empower them. I've no reason to think that it is directed at Amber or the baby, but I would feel more secure to have the premises given--additional security. Of the sort Demetria is expert in. I will go to Sunnydale later today and see if I can locate her. If not, I may have to ask Erynne and her lover if they can see to it, once the Hunting Moon leaves the sky. A brief visit from Erynne to her sister and the little one should be possible with cautions observed. It would cheer Amber. She misses Stephen and the rest. If I am to be honest with myself, so do I.
